Core Values

Our core values represent the desired educational environment and guide the development of each of our programs. Peabody Academy affirms the following values:

School Improvement Plan Goals:

  • For the 2024-2025 school year, the school will obtain a TVAAS score of a level 3 or higher in Numeracy. For the 2024-25 school year, the district will increase the number of students scoring met or exceeds expectations in mathematics by 3-4% for all students and an increase of 2% in subgroups.

  • For 2024-2025 school year, the school will obtain a level 3 TVAAS score or higher in Literacy. For the 2024-25 school year, the school will increase the number of students scoring met or exceeds expectations in ELA by 3-4% for all students and an increase of 2% in subgroups.

  • For the 2024-2025 school year, the school will increase the quality of the school climate in order to provide students, parents, and school personnel with a productive, safe school Research shows that school attendance increases when there is a positive school climate. For the 2024-2025 school year, Peabody High School will continue to decrease chronic absenteeism from 8.9% to 7.5% through continued district monitoring and the usage of the Progressive Truancy Intervention Plan. Additionally, the school will provide more opportunities for faculty and staff to be involved in programs that are aimed at providing assistance for students who are experiencing mental health issues and behavioral issues.
