FFA- West TN Regional Contest

Peabody has another team headed to a state competition!

Sponsor Michael Allen is proud to announce that the Peabody FFA Upper Division Ag Mechanics Skills Team placed 2nd in the West TN Regional Contest and 1st in the District!!

The Lower Division (Freshmen) Team did well also, placing 9th in West TN and 2nd in the District! Lower team members were Colin Hickerson participating in the wall stud assembly, Cole Barnett placing 10th in Electric Wiring, Ethan Ray placing 9th in Tool Identification and Ed Burns placing 5th in Small Engine Part Identification.

The upper team members were Travis Frazier placing 7th overall in Truss Assembly, Colby Lancaster and Aidan Huerta placing 6th overall in Differential Land Leveling, Mason Gant placing 3rd overall in welding and Rafe Hannah placing 2nd overall in Electric Wiring!

This is the highest we have ever placed in a Regional Contest and the first time we have had the chance to go to a state contest since 2011 when Taylor Barker, Ashley (Neisler) Johnstone, Stephen Miller and Olivia (Fernandez) Phifer went to state dairy and state nursery/landscaping!
